For the Core French Teacher Doing It All

You’re spending all your free time trying to create differentiated resources to meet all your learner’s needs.

You teach 100+ students in multiple grades and divisions. You also have split classes.

You want to love teaching French and get students engaged in learning a second language.

HEY THERE, I´M KAITLYN,

Expert Core French Teacher, Resource Creator & PD Facilitator

I was tired of watching Core French feel like they were on an island with limited support. Constantly just keeping your head above the water – surviving and not thriving.

You know the drill – students disengaged, teachers piecing things together at 10pm, and resources that *look good*  but don’t actually work in the Core French classroom.

And well…that wasn’t working.

So I started creating what I couldn’t find: Core French resources that are actually simple, engaging, built with the CEFR in mind, and actually save you time for all grades rather than reworking it to make it meet all your needs.

Somewhere along the way, it turned into a full-on mission to make Core French easier, more effective, and way less painful for teachers.

No scrambling. More confidence. More time back. And yes – PD that’s practical, no fluff, real advice, and something that doesn’t make you question why you’re listening to it.

Core French teachers – take back your time with ready-to-go resources and units.

Core French Teacher

My students loved this unit (Au cinéma – French Movie & Film Complete Unit)! The activities are engaging. There is lots of resources for speaking listening reading and writing throughout the unit. Mme Reid did an amazing job at making this unit with easy to follow lesson plans and fun, differentiated activities.

The Core French Club avec Mme Reid has been an excellent investment. It is the support that core French teachers rarely feel; both the community and the recourses coupled with the professional development, its great! Kaitlyn does an excellent job of focusing on a concept and coupling resources that can be easily implemented into teaching. That’s something I’ve greatly appreciated!

The Core French Connection Summit Attendee

I loved that there was something like this for French teachers. As a Core French teacher I feel like an island in my school with no one to talk to about what happens in our classrooms. This was great to rejuvenate me for my last 5 years of teaching. I would recommend that all French teachers take the opportunity to attend a Summit like this. I am glad there was an option to purchase an all access pass to watch sessions later on or over again. That way I didn’t stress out about getting everything watched in 2 days. Lots of variety of sessions on all the main topics we experience in French classrooms.
